Hello all , this weekend will mark the 4 week mark since the juicing all began. This morning I got on the scale and lost 1.8 Lbs, almost down to 220! My bmi is also down .4 which puts me in the overweight category. My total lose is 25 Lbs and first time in a while I saw 220! Joanna is down 1 lb and has perfect bmi and still eating 1 healthy meal a day. Yesterday we juiced turnip greens for the first time and they were yum. We mixed in cucs ,carrots ,celery ,garlic and red pepper. There is an interesting documentary(besides Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead) called Fathead that everyone should watch. My friend Barry suggested it to us and we watched it. It talks about the eating habits of america and the scales of obesity that we use and how far off it is. For example they interview a Doctor on nutrition and he is tall slim about 6'2 200Lbs. Visibly slim he is obese by American standards , what a joke! If anyone looked at him they would say he is slim and fit. It is a must see for those interested in health. Today we are going to do my favorite beets for lunch,little messy(looks like bloody murder when done) but great body cleanser. Well Joanna just made breakfast peaches, grapefruit, orange, apple and grapes. Yum! happy juicing!
