Hello fellow juice heads and good morning.  It's day 2 and I am down another 3.1 lbs!  I have almost lost my weight I gained in my 10 day break and my BMI is also down.  I am listed by American standards today as overweight, which is another whole story.  Everyone should watch the documentary, Fathead, which discusses our weight standards in America, they are ridiculous. Yesterday I had fruit juice in the morning and followed that with a green tea.  Joanna and I went for a walk with the dogs to the park since it was so beautiful here in Virginia.  For lunch I had carrots, celery, cucs, tomatoes, parsley and an apple.  I drank lots of water and made the same for dinner at work last night. We were very busy at Mangia last night and I had another green tea around 7 o'clock.  I ran around so much at work that I think it helped me lose more weight (lol).  At the end of the night the kitchen made us some pasta in vodka sauce and I did eat some.  I just had a little and it tasted so good and yet I still lost weight.  Today I am having grapefruit, apples, kiwi, and strawberries.  I'm working again tonight, hopefully there will be lots of running around!  I will juice twice for lunch and twice more for dinner with green tea in between.  Happy juicing everyone and remember feedback or your juicing story is welcome.

Good morning everyone, it's day 2 and off to good start. I lost 1.3 lbs yesterday and did eat one meal. I had a piece of Joanna's quiche for lunch and it was good.  By this weekend I will be totally off food and full-time juicing until we go to Florida for spring break! I had green tea after lunch and made 2 pints of juice for dinner and took them to work with me.  Dinner was carrots, celery, cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchini and apple.  I really enjoy drinking them now and I learned what recipes I like the most (Joanna does make better ones than me, shh).  When I went off the diet I had coffee a few times and I really don't miss it all!  We had wine a couple of times and enjoyed that, but in the morning I didn't feel very well.  I think the body was not use to any toxins in there and it let me know.  So today I weighed in at 223.5, when I ended my 30 days I was 218.5.  I started this journey at 244.5 and would like to be a healthy 205.  All of my shirts and pants are a little bit loose and it feels great. This time around I am going to use my energy level from juicing and do some more exercise to be totally fit.  Don't forget you need to drink lots of water when juicing to stay hydrated. Well, breakfast today was apples, plums, kiwi, oranges and strawberries!  Yum!  Strawberries are my all time favorite in the juicer. Have a great day and happy juicing all!

Hello everyone its me Jeano the juicer and I am back! After losing 27 pounds I too a week and a half off. I cooked Valentines dinner for Joanna last week. We had artichoke risotto and veal osso buco for dinner, soooo good. it was nice to eat meals for a little bit. we still juiced everyday at least once a day. it is something we will use in our lives always. I gained 5 Lbs over the 10-11 days I was treating myself. i still sleep well and feel great since starting a healthier new way of life.My new goal is going to be getting down to 200-205 after the next month. Today I had strawberries,apples,oranges and kiwi my bride Joanna made for breakfast. We just stocked up on tomatoes, cucs, carrots, celery and 1 of my favorites beets. i wanted to give a shout out to Jeff P. who juiced for 5 months and become healthier and lost 40 Lbs. nice job Jeff , love to hear good stories about healthy choices.Happy juicing all and lets do this journey together this time1 Its never to late to start!

Hi everyone its been 1 month! Yesterday was a special day I was down to 219 after starting this journey at 244.5 Lbs. I had my first cup of coffee and dinner with a bottle of wine with my beautiful bride Joanna. It was weird to sit down and eat a real meal. That was a celebration day and now back to juice and cleansing. We had salmon and a steamed artichoke for dinner, so we ate healthy. This morning I still lost 1Lb when I got on the scale and feel great heading toward month 2. I would like to get down between 200-205 after the next month. Today we are going to juice eggplant for the first time and see how that tastes(love eggplant). I know there are a couple of people that are starting juicing today ,  I would love to here others story and journeys on juicing.Some of our readers are from Ukraine , Costa Rico and Germany,would like to hear from you guys as well with feedback. I have lost almost 27 Lbs and was slowed down a few days from my infection in my leg. This made me think I should go longer. A new friend suggested we watch food matters, a great documentary on what happens to our food after it is picked from the farms. Very interesting to hear about what happens and eye opening to your health. Today we had oranges, apples, grapes and kiwi for breakfast . now lunch is being made, its eggplant, beets, celery, carrots and tomato ! yum ! happy juicing and would love recipes and feedback!

Good morning!  This morning I have a confession to make; that since my leg infection, I have been eating a little protein everyday (as the doctor told me that I should.)  But I'm still mainly juicing and I am now down under 220.  I weigh myself on the Wii Fit every morning and it's so nice not to hear that little Wii voice say, "That's obese."  (Hearing "That's overweight" is so much better.)  This week I'm going to try to start exercising more.  I was starting to but with my injured leg I had to stop.  But the past few days we've been taking the dogs to the park for a short walk everyday.  Yesterday we found 3 fresh deer carcases.  I'm not sure what killed them maybe a mountain lion or a bear?  But we're going to go check it out again today.  Today's breakfast was especially good, we had strawberries (my favorite), blueberries, kiwis, grapes and oranges.  Kiwis are one of my favorite fruits and also one of the very best fruits to eat.  Just peel them and juice them, it's delicious.  Happy Saturday everyone, I hope you have a relaxing weekend filled with juice!P.s lost another 1.8 Lbs this morning and going towards 30 lbs of weight loss!

Hello all , this weekend will mark the 4 week mark since the juicing all began. This morning I got on the scale and lost 1.8 Lbs, almost down to 220! My bmi is also down .4 which puts me in the overweight category. My total lose is 25 Lbs and first time in a while I saw 220! Joanna is down 1 lb and has perfect bmi and still eating 1 healthy meal a day. Yesterday we juiced turnip greens for the first time and they were yum. We mixed in cucs ,carrots ,celery ,garlic and red pepper. There is an interesting documentary(besides Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead) called Fathead that everyone should watch. My friend Barry suggested it to us and we watched it. It talks about the eating habits of america and the scales of obesity that we use and how far off it is. For example they interview a Doctor on nutrition and he is tall slim about 6'2 200Lbs. Visibly slim he is obese by American standards , what a joke! If anyone looked at him they would say he is slim and fit. It is a must see for those interested in health. Today we are going to do my favorite beets for lunch,little messy(looks like bloody murder when done) but great body cleanser. Well Joanna just made breakfast peaches, grapefruit, orange, apple and grapes. Yum! happy juicing!

hello on day 25 and lost another 1.5 lbs this morning. My bmi went down also as the weekend weight I put on is gone. Yesterday was my day off and my leg is almost healed. I am working tonight at Mangia restaurant at 400. Yesterday we went shopping and reloaded on cucs, romaine (1 of my favs), celery, tomatoes,zucchini and turnip greens which are good for infections. I also bought unsalted peanuts for my snack ,Joanna said I must post this. For dinner I also had a steamed artichoke with my bride. Joanna has gained 1 Lb over the last few days eating 1 meal a day and her cadbury egg addiction(lol) . She really does look great(and always does) and has been doing her Turbo Fire workouts . Today we are going to take Yogi and Poppers to the park for a walk and then juice it up before I go to work. For breakfast today we are having strawberries,kiwi, oranges, grapes and blueberries!Yum! The berries and fruits are so good for you in the morning and taste just like a shake. Everyone who has started to juice has loved the fruits but are so-so on the veggie juices. You just have to find the right mix for yourself. Recipe books help but might not always have the perfect 1 for you. Don't be afraid to switch an ingredient or 2 to your liking. Hi everyone its almost 3 .5 weeks in (minus super bowl weekend,lol) and I lost 1.5 Lbs and m
y bmi dropped. I am back on schedule and juicing strong! Joanna still looks and feels great, eating 1 healthy meal a day and juicing the other 2. I must of been dreaming last night, I woke her up in the middle of the night screaming I want my beets! i didnt believe her but she was sitting up ijn bed laughing when she woke me up. i would like to go 2 more weeks and lose another 10 to 15 Lbs and start working out on a regular schedule. I workout out a couple times a week and it feels great with all the energy I have from juicing. My face has lost its chubbyness from what people say to me and I could see it too. It feels good that I feel and see it and people see it has worked well! I have had many people start juicing over the last 3 weeks and I wish them well! You dont have to go 30 days , you could start at 5 or 10 days and see how you feel.It is also a healthy body cleanse for you as well. Well Jo made me breakfast plums, grapes, apples and grapefruit! Good morning and we are back to juicing again. I am back down to almost 225 after gaining 6 Lbs in my long weekend off. My bmi is about the same. Since being at the docs on saturday, all my vitals are looking good. My blood pressure is perfect and my heart rate and pulse was great! My blood pressure was a little high when I started the juice diet, now I need to get my cholestorol checked next and see if it went down, it was a little high. I have 2 weeks of full time juicing ahead, than I will slowly eat healthy while I keep juicing. After eating super bowl weekend it was not really what I expected. I thought it was going to taste so good and I was missing out but that wasnt the case at all. I felt full and tired with no energy. The juice gives me more energy and makes me feel better! Today is shopping day so we are making plums, peaches, grapefruit and grapes for breakfast. Happy juicing to all !

 Hello and day 22 is here and so is full time juicing. Yesterday I ate pizza , ribs , hummus and wings= gaining 4 Lbs!I just had  grapefruit,apples ,oranges and grapes for breakfast. Eating solid food for the first time in 3 weeks went right to my stomach.This shows we need to eat healthy and in moderation is really the key.I gained 6 lbs in 3 days from eating and lying on the couch while taking care of my leg. I ate heavy fatty super bowl food and it made me feel tired .Joannas weight has been pretty much the same and she is still juicing at least twice a day if not three times a day. I am going to do at least 2 more weeks and try to shed those lbs off that were so easy to put on. Hopefully  it will come off steady and consistent and I could gey back on track. Today is the end of 3 weeks and my infection is really hurting. i gained 1 Lb and my bmi went up a little from yesterday. I juiced 3 times yesterday but also ate for the first time since I am taking antibiotics. I had some chicken and some soup with pasta in it. I had my fruits in the morning and veggies in the afternoon and for dinner. today as I am rooting for the Pats in pain here , I will be picking before I start juicing only tomorrow. I plan on going 2 more weeks with the juice diet and losing more Lbs! My before and after pics will be on facebook this week, we could'nt figure out how to post them on the blog(lol). Today I am having strawberries , apples and oranges for breakfast,Yum!Happy super sunday to everyone and don't eat to much! Happy juicing!

Hello  everyone day 12 and I am off to a really late start. I gained 1 Lb today as I picked at some fruits yesterday to get ready for the super bowl party. Today I woke up with an infection in my lower leg that I had to go to the docs for. I need to eat protein over the next couple of days while I take antibiotics. I will keep weighing myself and posting , than I will begin again on Tuesday. The infection has nothing to do with the diet, it was just a fluke thing anyone could get. The next couple of days will tell me how much weight I will gain . I am still going to juice every morning and once more at lunch or dinner. I just had strawberries ,pears, apples and mint! Yum! Thanks Sean for the mint idea. Well I will talk to you tomorrow, happy juicing all!

Good morning, it's Day 19 and I lost another pound!  I have not eaten in 19 days so I'm really excited for Sunday when I get to "taste" a few foods...I'll let you know how that goes.  Joanna has now been eating and juicing for a week.  She has only gained one pound from her lowest weight even though she's been having Starbucks everyday, eating Cadbury mini eggs (she's addicted), and even ate at Red Lobster once.  Other than that she has been eating healthy.  I'm going to try to post my "before" picture today, I just need to figure out how to do it.  I'll take my "after" picture and post it this weekend.  Joanna's sister, Kristen is coming this weekend and she wants to start juicing soon too.  My sister Lea is still juicing and has lost weight.  At the end of the 30 days, Joanna has a surprise for me.  She said that it's not food.  I'm really curious to know what it is but she's really good at keeping secrets.  When she finished her 10 days she got herself a new book but she said that my surprise is better than a book.....hmm.  I'm having kiwis, grapefruit, oranges and apples for breakfast.  It's time to go shopping for more fruits and veggies today!  My body is really sore because Joanna convinced me to do the Core workout from Turbo Fire.  (It was hard.)

Hello everyone day 18 is here and I got off to late start. we took the dogs out this morning because its so nice out. Well I stayed the same exactly this morning, Bmi and my weight. My before and after pictures will be up this weekend(just have to figure it out,lol).I found a couple good chubby pictures , but I didnt take the day before pictures because I had no idea I would be blogging about my journey. Today we are trying a different fruit,  starfruit and a new veggie for lunch, jicama. We thought we bought papaya, but it was a jicama. store has had a few vegetables labeled wrong since we started. Some people also were asking about recipes and what fruit and vegetables are good. The book we have is our juicing bible, its called The Juicing Book by Stephen Blauer. Joanna looked it up on amazon and you could get it for $4 new or $2 used. It has all vitamin contents, lists of what each fruit and veggie does for you and your body. It also lists them all in order with vitamin contents and has many recipes. Sean I will be in touch for pulp recipes and good luck with your juicing! Good morning on day 17 today. Hard to believe how good I feel after 2 and half weeks! My Bmi dropped another half point and I lost 1.5 more Lbs! I am  almost at 222. There have been a few requests for me to put some pics up. I am looking for some recent photos to put up next week with my new photos of my weight loss. We can do the before and after. Its almost time to go shopping for some new pants. We went hiking yesterday and Joanna made fun of me because my pants were falling off. I forgot to wear my belt and she said I look like a skateboarder. Joanna has kept up juicing twice a day and eats 1 meal a day. She has been working out too and eats 1 apple before. Last night I had tomatoes, carrots, celery, zuccini, cucs and scallions. I have exactly 2 weeks left from today left on my 30 days. I hope to lose another 15 to get under 210. Than I made a deal with myself, to pick on sunday for the super bowl party we go to(lots of good stuff). I am still bringing my juice but want a couple wings. After that I am going an extra week of juicing,as my price for picking,lol. Today is going to be almost 70 in Va. so taking the dogs for a nice walk. Breakfast is served ,today is grapefruit,grapes oranges and apples,Yum! Happy juicing!

Good morning to all! Day 16 has arrived and gone is another Lb ! Just under 225 and going strong. My Bmi keeps dropping which is great. Joanna has been juicing twice if not three times a day still and lost 1.3 lbs yesterday. We are having fun mixing different fruits and veggies together. The one thing that drives me crazy is with all this juice in me I have to pee a lot!! Yesterday I did a double at Mangia and drank 6 juices and lots of green tea and water(very important). If you start juicing don't be afraid to take it with you somewhere. You should drink the juice within 24 though, don't make a pitcher and let it sit in the fridge for a couple of days. Today we are going on a long hike with Yogi and Poppers (our dogs). Its going to be 65 here in Virginia! Breakfast is made today its strawberries, oranges ,apples, grapes and plums(first time using plums). Yum! My friend Melissa sent an energy recipe to me I wanted to share, its watermelon, pears and a little lime. Please send more recipes and comments ! Happy juicing to all! P. Happy Monday everyone! Today I got on the scale and lost .4 of a Lb and my Bmi dropped a little more. I must admit though I treated myself last night to a steamed artichoke! It was the first food I have had in 2 weeks. I juiced all day and worked  brunch yesterday and felt great. Today is back to only juice and tea for 2 more weeks and I think I am going to do an extra week. Joanna still juices every morning and either lunch or dinner. Her weight has been steady since she has slowly been eating meals.Its makes me happy that their has been almost 700 readers on my blog so far! Not to mention many people have started to juice. Its a perfect way to start the new year and I think you could have fun with it. Red Peppers are my new thing , they taste so good . I mix the with Carrots, Celery, and sweet potato. Yum! Well I have to go to work now and breakfast is Grapefruit, Apples, Oranges and Grapes! Happy juicing everyone and thank you Karli for telling me the broccoli , parsley and apples mix is yucky! Good morning blogees,its 2 weeks today! i lost another 1.3 Lbs and feeling fine. my Bmi dropped again also as I am losing fat. I have lost 20 lbs the first 2 weeks and hope to lose another 15 at least. if i do some workouts with it I should be healthy and trim.For those who dont know why Joanna and i started this is after watching Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead(documentary). I suggest everyone to watch it , its very good. It is an eye opening show about how we eat and what we should eat. It shows how the juicing works in your life and your diet. You will see 2 amazing people in the show and how they change their lives.Yesterday I had Scallions, Carrots, Cucs and Kale with an Apple for lunch. At dinner was Celery, Zucchini, Carrots, Spinach, Garlic and Cucs(YUM).My pants are getting looser and I sleep better and better at night. All my shirts are not too short or tight anymore and Im not sweating like I did(for those who know me well wont believe that,lol).Well Jo made breakfast and its Pineapple, Oranges,Grapes and Apples. Good morning everyone, its day 13 and we are going strong. today my Bmi dropped a half point and I lost almost a half Lb. I am down to 227 from 244.5 and feel great with 2 weeks and 1 day to go.I am actually thinking about going a little longer. Joanna has gained 2 Lbs in the last 3 days (but looks great !). Her Bmi is perfect and is what it should be.Last night I cooked and used whole wheat pasta for Shrimp Scampi, with asparagus and artichoke hearts. Joanna has still been juicing at least twice a day. she like the energy she has and feels really good. My sister Lea is on day 3 juicing and is excited to feel better, go sis!! People ask what the difference is between juicing and blending. When you juice(we use a Breville juicer) it takes all the vitamin content out and has a pulp catcher for the rest of the fruit or veggies. My belt is being used for its true job (to keep my pants up) for the first time in a while. Today we are going for a long hike with our dogs and workout later before work. Last night I juiced asparagus tips for the first time with Carrots, celery, Cucs and Kale. It was real good and loved the asparagus. well its breakfast time and hiking time. Today Joanna made me Pineapple(first time,real good), Oranges, Grapefruit, Grapes  and Melon.Yum! Happy juicing today and every day.

Hello bloggees and good morning. Its day 12 and feeling great, gained .4 of a Lb yesterday. I had a good workout yesterday, biked for 15 minutes and did chest and shoulders. I feel a little sore but I had good energy during the workout. Joanna juiced all day again yesterday even though she finished her 10 day cleanse. She did eat some hummus at night with crackers.I had a dream I was eating gnocci the other night and they were good lol. My bmi went up a half point as well yesterday, hoping it was the workout.It has been nice to get feedback and questions from everyone. I am glad their are lots of new juicers out there, keep it going! My friend becca said I should post another fruit or veggie from our juicer book with a recipe, so here we go. Did you know how good Parsley is for you? Its not just a plate garnish. It is a to blood and body cleanser filled with vitamin A and C. It helps these conditions as well, arthritis, Bladder disorder, Cancer, circulatory, Eyes, female Endocrine Imbalance, Heart Disease, Kidney, Liver, Prostate and Skin Disorders, Weight Loss and Urinary Tract Infections! Hello everyone, day 11 here and 1 more lb gone. My BMI dropped a half point also. Joanna gained .9 of a lb as she finished her 10 day cleanse. Joanna had an spinach salad for dinner last night and could only eat half, she was full! Later she had a little bit of hummus (chic peas) and was so full. Today instead of eating an egg as she planned she wanted to juice some fruit with me (she also wanted a Starbucks though)! Joanna and I love the fruit in the mornings, they are soooooo good.  My sister Lea bought her Breville juicer yesterday and is starting to juice today! We wanted to say good luck to her.  Someone asked about what to put in your juices. We have a juicer book, we also use the web as well as finding out on our own. Our favorite is strawberries, apples and oranges in the morning. For lunch yesterday we cabbage for the first time with sweet potato (really good), carrots(always), celery, tomatoes, scallions and cucs. Our friend Glen Colello is also on Facebook and is also a juice bar owner in Fairfield, CT.  His site has great links and recipes for those interested, it's "catch a healthy habit" on Facebook. Well breakfast is ready, today is: strawberry, peach and orange. Yum! Happy juicing.

Hello everyone day 10 has arrived and another 2.2l lbs has gone away! I am down to 228 and my bmi continues to drop. Joanna is in her last day of her 10 day cleanse today. So with 20 more days left I am hoping to get close to 200 lbs, which I have not seen in years. Joanna will start with salad tomorrow and eating fruits. Than she will start to eat soups and cooked veggies. This diet/ cleanse also retrains your body to want fruit and veggies. Everyone TELLS us you will put on double the weight when your done(people love to see you fail sometimes,why?). When you are done the key is change and eat in moderation. We will continue to juice in the morning because fruits are so good. We will also continue to do veggies a few times a week.The juicer helps you lose weight and cleanse your body as well as change your body habits. i hope Nic, Steve and Becca my fellow juicers are doing well with it.Well breakfast is served , today is oranges , grapes, grapefruit, kiwi and melon. Hi all its day 9 and still going strong!My bmi dropped a point , which is what my weight should be calculating weight and height. I also dropped 1.1 lbs down to 230 and Joanna lost 1 lb as well.Joannas 10 day cleanse ends tomorrow and she will juice fruit on Thursday morning and eat salad for lunch and dinner. You have to eat light and re introduce solid food to your body. then cooked vegetables and eating fruits . i found myself shivering last night sleeping.I think its because I am losing my warm fat(lol). I juiced sweet potato last for the first time it was good! Has extra carbs in it compared to all the fruits and veggies and I had to work last night. It gave me a little extra energy.As i was talking to my friend Leslie last night I was tellinjg her about this juice book we use and she thought I should mention it.It is called the juicing book and lists every fruit and veggie with a list of what it does for your body as well as vitamin content.For example , carrots juice helps acne, asthma, arthitis, bladder problems, cancer, cataracts, diabetes, liver disorders, ulcers, eye disorders, skin disorders, weight loss and pregnacy and delivery!! It also strengthens skin hair and nails. Carrots are one of the best juicing veggies that contain vitamin B,C,D,e and K.They also have calcium , potassium, phosphorous and sodium.You never thought a carrot was that good for you! Since I started juicing my skin has cleared up nice, I stopped snoring and my neck and backache has gone away! Well my bride just made breakfast grapes, blueberries, strawberries,cantaloupe, apples, oranges and kiwi,yum! happy juicing.

Hello on day 8 everyone! This morning my weight stayed the same but my bmi went down a little again(which is just as good). Joanna lost another lb and has 3 days left on her 10 cleanse. She looks and feels great and continues to do her turbo workout with her sis. I feel great also but must say i missed some wings yesterday on championship sunday(football). I have 3 weeks to go and am looking forward to buying some new clothes, they are getting big already. Last night we bought some romaine to juice for the first time, very good. We mixed it with tomatoes, carrots, celery and cucs with a little mango. Green tea that we drink helps out a lot during the day also, and always lots of water. The juice does not keep you hydrated enough so you have to drink water! Well breakfast time mango, oranges grapes, and apples!! Yum!talk to you tommorow, happy juicing.

Hey guys its sunday  day 7 and we will have a week under our belts(which is getting looser!lol) ! Joanna is doing her turbo workouts daily and feels and looks great, she has lost 7 lbs so far(she looked great before). I lost 2.2 more lbs this morning and my bmi dropped 1.3! I am down to under 231 and feel great with lots of energy. Yesterday we had some beets juice which is a great cleanser but they say only a couple times a week,it could bother the stomach. We mixed it with lemon , carrots , garlic and parsley. We wanted to say thank you for all the feedback and responses(mostly positive too). I have to say in the last 3 days we have had 4 people tell us thay bought juicers and have started, that makes joanna and I feel good . We hope you enjoy it like us and if we could help please ask. Well its sunday, time to go to church ,Jo is getting ready so I am making breakfast today. Melon ,apples, oranges, and grapes ! yum! talk to you tommorow.

Hello everyone, day 6 has arrived and another lost Lb. down to 233 from 244.5!Joanna has lost several pounds as well and her energy level has passed me. My bride was up at 5 00 am today wide awake and rested! My bmi dropped another point(body fat) and hoping to get a workout in. I cooked my first meal for my sister-in-law Rachel last night in a long time. I made her some pasta ,broccoli with garlic and oil some onions. I think it helps me to cook even though I cant eat it yet. I love to cook for those who dont know me and it keeps me busy.Joanna is done with her cleanse next thursday, so I will have some cooking to do after that.Last night for dinner we had tomatoes, carrots, kale and apple.For lunch we had celery, carrots, cucs, apples, tomatoes, garlic(which thanks to Glen Collelo I learned is great healthy juicing) and melon. My energy is great and starting to feel even younger. We went to see Tower Heist last night(funny movie) and I must say the popcorn smelled good lol. i have better willpower than I thought and it doesnt bother me. Hope you are enjoying our blog! Hello everyone Jeano the Juicer here and day 5 has arrived! I lost another 2.6 lbs getting on the scale today, with my bmi down 2 more points(body mass index). I started this diet at 244.4 lbs and I am down to 234 already! My energy level is great and never slept so well since I was younger( much lol ). For thoses of you that dont know me I live in Lynchburg, Va. and work in a great Italian restaurant called Mangia. everything is homemade and makes my challenge more interesting.Joanna my beautiful bride has lost even more weight as she is doing a 10 day cleanse. Our poor dogs are wondering my the stove or oven have not been used for days as they are on a diet too! Joanna just made breakfast strawberrys,melon,oranges , apples and grapes! Strawberrys are even better juiced! The fruits in the morning are soooo good , I will always have them even after my 30 day adventure. I am already considering going longer than 30 days because i feel so good already.Last night I had beets , parsley, carrots , celery and apples for dinner.

Day 4

Hi my name is Jeano and I am 40 years old and recently started a juice diet. My goal is to go 30 days juicing fruits and veggies.  It will be a cleanse and a weight lose for me and it is the first time I have done this! My wife and I are in day 4 of our diet and both lost weight and feel great. The first day of transition was rough with hunger pain and headaches! Today (day 4) we have lots of energy and feel great. We have 2 glasses of assorted fruits juiced in the morning(apples, oranges, nectarines, mango, melon, grapes), 2 glasses of veggies juiced for lunch and dinner(kale, carrots, celery, tomato, cucs, beets). During the day we also drink lots of water and green tea which is an antioxidant to stay hydrated. Our goal is to change our eating habits and be healthier. I am going to blog every morning about what we had and how much weight I have lost each day. Any recipes or feedback is very welcome, thanks!
